Mónika Mátay: Global Parliament of Mayors

2016. október 12. 10:42:18

The autonomous parliament of mayors was established in The Hague during the weekend of September 9–11, 2016. The GPM has been inspired by Benjamin R. Barber, author of If Mayors Ruled the World, who called for a program of action on behalf of city representatives. In the Summer University of iASK Benjamin Barber proposed that Hungarian cities and city alliances could also join the Global Parliament of Mayors. The Association of Pannon Cities, represented by Mónika Mátay (IASK permanent fellow) was invited to GPM.
